Teens
Our Teen Services focus primarily on supporting young learners in their own independent language and communication learning journeys. As teens, therapy can be challenging both in terms of motivation and objectives. Our evaluations investigate age and grade specific language and learning skills using evidence based assessment tools. Subsequent therapy plans are designed together with the teen to make sure that their voices are heard and their own needs are met.
Language Evaluations High school
Evaluations for language and literacy at the high school level are individualized and personalized based on your child’s level, objectives and individual profile.
Individual & Group Therapies
Teens can be seen in individual speech-language therapy sessions or by group, depending on their own unique goals. Therapies include language skills, speech sound production, reading and writing, social communication and pragmatics, and more.
Literacy Intensives
Whether your teen is working towards entrance exams, trying to manage the new high school workload expectancies or simply trying to improve their reading and writing skills, our literacy intensives are programs designed for children aged 12-18 with curriculums that mirror the QEP expectancies.
